MANILA - After their controversial split, hunk actor Sam Milby said he is happy that his former sweetheart Anne Curtis has finally moved on and started dating a new man.
Fresh from his successful trip in United States for the "Star Magic: The World Concert Tour," Milby admitted that he had known about the actress's new love for quite some time.
"I've heard about it for a long time. I'm happy for her if she is happy now. I'm happy for her," Milby said.
Curtis revealed over the weekend that she is dating a non-showbiz man. However, the actress chose not to give more details about her new partner to avoid making her love life a big issue.
“As much as possible, ayokong pag-usapan dahil ginagawang issue. Lumabas na negative pa nga [para sa akin], because of Sam, [na] ako iyong nauna if ever [na makipag-date],” she said.
Curtis, the lead star of the upcoming television series “The Wedding”, was quick to point out that Milby had chosen to end their relationship.
However, she insisted that, like Milby, she has already moved on from the pain of their breakup.
