Fire hits shanty area in QC

Fire on Tuesday morning gutted at least 25 homes in a shanty area in Quezon City, displacing some 50 families.
A radio dzMM report said fire brokeout at a squatters' area along Don Pepe Road in Barangay Sto. Domingo around 5:50 a.m.
The report said the fire started from a gas stove.
The fire reached the second alarm and was put out arou nd 6;40 a.m.
No one was hurt in the incident.
