A music school recently opened in Athens, Greece to teach Filipino children how to play musical instruments.
Lawyer Tom Hornales, a music lover, founded the Philippine Academy of Music in Athens.
"Purpose ng project na ito ay para matuto ang mga bata sa sariling musika natin at mga awiting Pilipino sa pamamaraan ng rondalla,” Hornales said.
Hornales added that his music school is offering classes to children free of charge.
Hornales is being assisted by volunteer music teacher Arden Poblete.
The school teaches two classes every Saturday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Report from Eva Garcia, ABS-CBN Europe News Bureau, correspondent
